Most of us need to be better at setting goals for ourselves as well as for our firm and the people that work for us. We all know that we should set goals and that people that do set goals tend to perform better. Here are a few Hints from The Hartford on Goal Setting:
Rule 1: Each Goal Must Be Within the Goal Setter’s Control
Rule 2: Each Goal Must Be Quantifiable
Rule 3: Everyone’s Goals Are Reviewed on a Specific Day (Such as the First Friday After the End of the Quarter)
